PNG to JPG Converter — Choose Quality & Background
Convert up to 50 PNG images to JPG at once. Set the quality, choose what colour transparent areas become — white, black or any colour — and see which images actually had transparency. Compare before and after, then download each JPG or all of them as a ZIP. Your images are processed on your own device.

What PNG to JPG Converter does
No surprise black backgrounds
JPG cannot be transparent, and many converters fill the gaps with black. Here transparent areas become white by default — or black, or any colour you pick to match where the image is going.
Know which files had transparency
Each image says whether it had transparent pixels and how much was filled, so a logo in a batch of photos does not slip through with the wrong background.
Quality you control
Set the JPG quality once for the whole batch. Every row shows the new file size straight away, so you can find the smallest file that still looks right.
Compare before you download
Drag a divider across the original PNG and the JPG to check text edges and gradients, where JPG artefacts show first.
Whole folders at once
Drop in up to 50 PNGs or paste a screenshot, then download the JPGs one by one or all together as a ZIP.
Your images stay on your device
Your browser decodes each PNG and writes the JPG itself. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no queue or watermark.

How it works
Add PNG images
Drop them on the page, choose them, or paste one from the clipboard.
Set the quality
90 suits most images; go higher for screenshots with text.
Pick a background
Choose the colour transparent areas should become.
Download
Save each JPG, or all of them as a ZIP.
How people use it
Upload limits and forms
Many forms and portals only accept JPG, or cap the file size. Screenshots saved as PNG often shrink by 70% or more.
Email and messaging
Send a batch of screenshots or exported graphics as JPGs that attach and open quickly.
Faster web pages
Photos exported as PNG are far heavier than they need to be. Convert them to JPG before putting them on a site.
Printing services
Photo printers and print shops commonly ask for JPG. Pick white so transparent corners print as paper, not black.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser decodes each image and writes the JPG on your device. There is no upload, no server copy and no daily limit.
Why do transparent PNGs turn black in other converters?
JPG has no transparency, so every transparent pixel has to become a colour. An empty canvas in memory is transparent black, and a converter that does not paint a background first hands you black. This tool always paints your chosen colour first.
What quality should I choose?
85–92 is indistinguishable from the original for most photos. Screenshots and images with small text show artefacts sooner, so use 92–100 for those. Use the comparison slider to check edges before downloading.
Will the JPG be smaller?
Almost always, often by 70–90% for photos and large screenshots. Very simple graphics with a few flat colours can be smaller as PNG; the size change is shown on every file. For flat graphics, keep the PNG or compress it to WebP, which keeps transparency.
Can I convert JPG back to PNG with transparency?
Yes — the JPG to PNG converter can make a solid background transparent again. The quality JPG discarded does not come back, though.
Is the location or camera data kept?
No. Only the pixels are redrawn, so metadata is not copied into the JPG. To remove metadata from a JPG without re-encoding it, use the EXIF remover.
Is there a limit?
Up to 50 images at a time and 50 MB each. Animated GIFs are converted from their first frame.
