API URL Kit ("we", "us") operates the website at apiurlkit.com. This policy explains what data we do and do not collect when you use the tools.
Data you paste
Almost every tool here processes your input locally in your browser using JavaScript. For those tools, the JSON, text or file you paste is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you close or reload the page, that data is gone (except for checklists you explicitly save to your own browser). You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's network tab while using one, and you will see no requests carrying your input. Every such tool is listed on the private tools page and carries a Runs in your browser label.
Tools that run on our servers
A few tasks cannot be done in a browser — they need more memory, more time, or a model we cannot ship to your device. Those tools are marked Processed on our server on their own page, alongside a plain sentence saying where your input goes. They never appear on the private tools page. The rules below apply to all of them, without exception:
- Deleted within one hour. Anything you upload, and anything we generate from it, is removed no more than one hour after you send it — usually sooner, as soon as your download completes. This is enforced by a storage lifecycle rule rather than by our application code, so files are deleted on schedule even if the job that created them crashes.
- Not readable by guessing. Files are stored under long random identifiers, the storage cannot be listed or browsed, and nothing is publicly readable.
- Never logged. We record that a job ran, how long it took and how large the input was. We do not log file contents, file names, or the text you submit.
- Never used for training and never sold or shared for advertising.
- Third parties are named. Where a tool sends your input to an outside provider, that provider is named on the tool's own page before you use it.
We have no way to recover a file after it has been deleted, so please keep your own copy of anything you need.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (page views, country, device type). Google may set cookies to do this. We do not use analytics to identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Advertising
We may display ads from third-party networks. These partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can manage ad personalization through your Google account settings or your browser's cookie controls.
Local storage
We store your theme preference (light or dark) and any checklists you create in your browser's local storage. This information contains nothing personal and never leaves your device.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data through the browser-based tools, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. Files sent to a server-backed tool are deleted automatically within one hour; if you want something removed sooner, contact us with the time and the tool you used. For analytics or ad data, use the opt-out links above.
