Image Resizer — Batch, Social Sizes, Crop or Pad
Resize up to 50 images at once to exact pixels, a percentage, a longest side, or a ready-made size for Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and more. When the shape differs, choose to fit, crop to fill, pad or stretch. Save as JPG, PNG or WebP and download a ZIP. Your images are processed on your own device.

What Image Resizer does
Four ways to say how big
Exact pixels with the other side automatic, a percentage, a longest side that suits portrait and landscape alike, or a named size such as an Instagram portrait post or a YouTube thumbnail.
You decide what happens to the shape
When the size has a different shape from the photo, fit it inside, crop the overflow evenly from the centre, pad it with a colour of your choice, or stretch it. Most resizers only stretch.
No blurry enlargements
With “Never enlarge” on, images already smaller than the target keep their own size instead of being blown up. When you do enlarge, each file says by how much.
Sharp results when shrinking
Big reductions are resampled in halving steps rather than one jump, which avoids the jagged edges and moiré of a single-pass resize.
Same size for the whole batch
Drop in up to 50 images, set the size once, and every file is resized. File names get the new dimensions added, and a ZIP collects them all.
Your images stay on your device
Your browser does the resizing. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no queue, no watermark and no monthly limit.

How it works
Add images
Drop them on the page, choose them, or paste one from the clipboard.
Choose the size
Pixels, percent, longest side, or a social media size.
Choose the fit
If the shape differs, fit, crop, pad or stretch — and pick the output format.
Preview and download
Check each result, then download it or all of them as a ZIP.
How people use it
Social media posts
Get the exact size for an Instagram portrait post, a story, an X header or a LinkedIn banner, cropped from the centre.
Website images
Cap a folder of photos at 1920 pixels on the long side before uploading them — the quickest way to a faster page.
Forms with size rules
Application forms and marketplaces often demand a set width and height. Pad to keep the whole photo, or crop to fill.
Thumbnails and avatars
Make matching square thumbnails or profile pictures from photos of any shape in one go.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser decodes, resizes and re-encodes each image on your device. There is no upload, no server copy and no daily limit.
How do I resize without distorting the image?
Give only a width or only a height and the other side follows the original proportions. When you give both, choose “Fit inside”, “Crop to fill” or “Pad” — only “Stretch” changes the proportions.
What is the difference between fit, crop and pad?
Fit inside scales the whole image until it fits the box, so one side may be shorter. Crop to fill covers the box exactly and trims the overflow evenly from both sides. Pad keeps the whole image at the exact box size and fills the gaps with a colour, or with transparency for PNG and WebP.
What sizes are the social media presets?
Instagram 1080×1080, 1080×1350 and 1080×1920; YouTube thumbnail 1280×720 and banner 2560×1440; X post 1600×900 and header 1500×500; LinkedIn banner 1584×396 and shared image 1200×627; link preview 1200×630; Pinterest 1000×1500; profile picture 400×400; Full HD 1920×1080. Every preset shows its pixel size, so you can check it against the platform's current guidance.
Why did my image not get bigger?
“Never enlarge” is on. Scaling a small image up cannot add detail, so the result looks soft; the tool keeps it at its own size and tells you. Untick the option if you need the exact size anyway.
Does resizing reduce the file size?
Shrinking the pixel dimensions is the biggest file-size win there is — halving width and height removes three-quarters of the pixels. For a specific size in KB, use the image compressor.
Are phone photos rotated correctly?
Yes. The rotation stored by the phone is applied before resizing, so the result is upright. Other metadata, such as location, is not copied into the resized file.
Is there a limit?
Up to 50 images at a time and 50 MB each, and up to 16,000 pixels per side. Very large images use a lot of memory while they are processed, so a phone may be slower than a computer.
